Evaluation and Promotion

The Evaluation is conducted on a Continuous and Comprehensive basis and a detailed report will be prepared at the end of each term.

FOR CLASSES I to V

a.) The academic year will be divided into four terms.

b.) Students’ performance shall be evaluated on the basis of these assessments.

c.) Marks will be converted into grades and remarks.

FOR CLASSES VI to X

CBSE has introduced the scheme of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) in all CBSE affiliated schools. Assessments will be based on written as well as oral tests. It would also include evaluation of projects / activities / quizzes/ assignments/ classwork/ homework etc.

Promotion will be based on the day work and conduct of the students throughout the year and also on the performance in the Terminal Examinations. The student shall be marked / graded according to his/ her performance in these assessments.

FOR CLASSES XI

Examination schedule for Class XI is the same as that of XII except that instead of preboard Exams, Class XI will have Annual Examination in the month of February.

First Quarterly Examination August / September
Half Yearly Examination November
Preboard Examination December
