Founder’s Day
On the 90th birthday of Shri Kulanand Bhartiya, former education minister and founder of Nav Bharti Schools, a symposium was organised by Bharti Education Society at India Islamic Cultural Centre, Delhi.
Among those present were the Tele Communication Minsiter, Sh. Kapil Sibbal , Member of Parliament Sh.Jai prakash Aggarwal, Speaker of Delhi Assembly, Sh. Yoganand Shastri & Education Minister Smt. Kiran Walia. The programme commence with Ganesh Stuti.
All the speakers expressed their gratitude towards the services rendered by Sh. Kulanand Bhartiya. Prof. Kiran Walia appreciated the services rendered by Bhartiya towards the society throughout his life. She also announced an award to a derserving student and a dedicated teacher of Delhi.
Annual Exhibition
The School always take initiative to make the Navbhartians feel proud as children always take pride in exhibiting their work and talent. This year also the school has devised a novel approach for evaluating and showcasing the knowledge acquired by the children through “Creative Mind Extravaganza” organized in the month of July. Nav bhartians rejuvenated their creative spirit by expressing their creativity through projects, charts, models and even live demonstrations which were given to them as summer holidays home work. The added attraction was that the children were dressed appropriately according to the topic given to them. The themes of the presentations were based on moral values, literature, science fiction etc.
Children exemplified their talent so exquisitely that teachers were left spell bounded judging their work. Even parents were overwhelmed at the exhibition. The occasion drew enthusiastic response from all ends to make it a success.
Magic Show
A magic show was organized by the school for the student of Primary classes in the month of May. The magician entertained the audience with his novel magic tricks. He also taught the students source of these tricks. The show enhanced the sharpness and creativity of the students, besides being a source of fun and recreation for them.
Mother’s Day
Mother’s day is celebrated with lot of enthusiasm to honour mothers and motherhood. The unconditional love of mothers and their influence in society. Mothers are our guiding force and also responsible for making us who we are.
To generate this special feeling in the students and give them a chance to express their mothers on the special day, Poem recitation was organized in the school. The students had recited their poems and showed their sentiments for their mothers. Overall the day was full of fun and excitement for the student.
Rainy Day
To beat the heat of summer Rain dance party was organized by the school in the month of July. The arrangements were made for artificial rain in the school ground. The students enjoyed the music, zoomed and danced with their heart’s content. They rejuvenated, rejoiced and soothed their spirit in the rain.
Health Day
To draw student’s attention to health concern “Health Day” was celebrated in the month of April. On the occasion, special assembly was organized. Different activities like slogan writing, poster making, show and tell etc. were organized to spread awareness regarding good health.
Literary activities
Education is the kindling of a flame not the filling of a vessel.
Debates, extempore, storytelling, essay writing and poem recitation are organized regularly to enhance the oratory and writing skills of the students. Partnership of newspaper and education has been paying rich dividends in the holistic development of the students. To promote the habit of reading and explore the world of information, newspaper are being supplied to students from Class-V onwards under the program of HT pace.
Awareness camp to Disaster Management
The school organizes awareness camp from time to time in order to enhance the skills to be able to respond better in case of disaster strikes. As per the directions of CBSE the school has formed a Disaster Management Team. According to which various pre planned activities like awareness programmes , teachers’ training and mock drills are conducted from time to time . Recently the school has organized an awareness programme related to Disaster Management in which NAV BHARTIANS were made to learn to reduce the impact of any hazard.
